How to Backup a Weebly Website

There is a very useful tool created by Weebly that can allow you to backup your Weebly website. We do this regularly for our websites that are built on Weebly’s platform.

You can never be sure what can happen to your website. Have you ever had a computer crash on you? If so, did you backup your important files? I certainly hope so.

The same concept applies here. It is a very good habit to backup your Weebly website at least once a week. Especially if you are very active with your website and if you have made changes to your Weebly designs.

The size of the backup file is directly correlated to the size of your website. If you have a lot of graphics and pages, the larger the backup file. But don’t worry, the amount of hard disk space on computers nowadays is plenty.

One quick tip is that you should save your backup file in an external drive if you can. Even a USB key / thumb drive will do the job.
